Can you wear flip flps...Without Big Toes?

A dear friend of mine mentioned this in passing to me one day and it really made me think- can you walk in flip-flops with no big toes? This is a thought provoking question that I wonder anyone has the answer to. I know I don't. But wouldn't it be interesting sight to see.....LOL
